APOSTOLIC DOCTRINE
We believe the New Testament church is built upon the foundation of the apostles, prophets, and Jesus Christ, who is the chief cornerstone of the church. Therefore, the foundation of our beliefs, imperatives, and actions are based upon the literal word of God. We seek to glorify God through applying the principles of His word to our every day lives (Ephesians 2:20-22).
THE BIBLE
We believe that the Bible is God's inspired and living Word, free from error. It serves as the ultimate authority for salvation and guiding Christian living. (2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25)
GOD
We believe in one God, revealed as the Father in creation, Jesus Christ is the Son of God in redemption, and the Holy Spirit in regeneration. Jesus, both God and man, manifested God in human form. (Deuteronomy 6:4; Ephesians 4:4-6; Colossians 2:9; 1 Timothy 3:16)
SIN & SALVATION
Everyone has sinned and needs salvation. Because we have sinned we believe everyone must be born again of water and Spirit to enter the Kingdom of God (John 3:3-5). Salvation comes by grace through faith based on the atoning sacrifice of Jesus Christ (Romans 3:23-25; 6:23; Ephesians 2:8-9).
THE GOSPEL
We believe the Gospel is the good news of Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection. Obedience to the gospel involves repentance, immersion baptism in the name of Jesus Christ, and receiving the Holy Spirit, evidenced by speaking in tongues. (Acts 2:4, 37-39; Acts 10:43-48; Acts 19:1-6; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Corinthians 15:1-4)
CHRISTIAN LIVING
As Christians we strive to exemplify the words of Jesus Christ to Love God with all our hearts, soul, and mind, as well as loving others. We believe our purpose is to love God and others, living a holy life, both inwardly and outwardly. This involves displaying the fruits of the Spirit and joyfully worshiping God. (Mark 12:28-31; 1 Corinthians 12:8-10; 2 Corinthians 7:1)
THE FUTURE
We believe that Jesus Christ will return for His church, followed by a final resurrection and judgement. The righteous will inherit eternal life, while the unrighteous will face eternal death. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; Revelation 20:11-15)
